This site uses a minimal number of cookies — only what's needed to deliver the site and a privacy-preserving analytics tool. We do not run advertising trackers, social-media trackers, or third-party marketing pixels. Plain UK English. Honest list.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Some are essential to make the site work. Others track behaviour across the web. We use the first kind; we avoid the second.

What we do NOT use

• Google Analytics (we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals)
• Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other social-media tracker
• Display advertising cookies
• Behavioural retargeting cookies
• Heatmap or session-recording tools

Your control

• Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off — without them the site does not function.
• Payment cookies only run on the checkout page. You can decline at the point of purchase (you won't be able to complete the purchase).
• Newsletter pixels can be disabled by your email client's image-loading settings, or by unsubscribing from the Weekly Grid Briefing.
• You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time. We won't track you against your stated preference.

Cookie consent

A cookie consent banner appears on first visit. Your choice is stored in the cookie-consent cookie for 12 months. You can change your preference at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer.
